CASE STUDY

Missions for Humanity partnered with Capion Studio to document a month-long humanitarian mission throughout Tanzania in 2025 designed to increase awareness, strengthen donor engagement, and support fundraising efforts surrounding the organization’s annual gala event.
 

The campaign documented medical outreach, school aid initiatives, essential donations, and humanitarian support efforts across local communities while creating an emotionally authentic story centered around real human impact.

The resulting campaign included a documentary, social adverts, commercial spots, and supporting media assets that helped contribute to a sold out gala event and the organization’s strongest fundraising performance to date.

• $127,500 Total Funds Raised
• $81,500 Raised During “Gifts From The Heart” 
• "Gifts From The Heart" Goal Surpassed By +$6,500
+15% Increase Over Previous Year

With a sold out gala event, a +15% increase in year-over-year fundraising, and fundraising goals surpassed during the documentary-driven ‘Gifts From The Heart’ segment ($75K ⭢ $81.5K), the campaign demonstrated the measurable impact emotionally authentic storytelling can have on donor engagement and nonprofit fundraising performance.
